Ingredients of Cabbage salad:
1/2 cabbage, leaves rinsed and cleaned.Core discarded. Finely chop or shred.
1/2 onion, finely chopped
2 medium tomotoes, diced
1 small cucumber, peeled, seeded and finely chopped.
1 sm. green chilli, finely chopped
Preparation of Cabbage salad:
Handful of coriendar leaves, finely chopped Mix vegetables together in bowl. Add juice from 1/2 lime/lemon (Fresh). Add salt and fresh ground pepper to taste. Mix well. Let chill for 20 min. before serving. *a sprinkle of red chilli powder may be added for extra hotness **Shredded lettuce leaves may be substitued for cabbage or added.
